What Causes Sudden Itchy Rashes All Over Body And Scalp?
Hi there,My friend has rash starting from his knees after playing soccer. He wasn t sure if he or the ball has touched Poison Ivy. Then the rash spread all over his body and looks like someone scratched him really hard, and the rash won t go away. Now the rash is on the back of his neck and even on his scalp too that causes the itchiness too. The ointment from the doctor didn t work at all. He wasn t sure what triggered it - cayan pepper was the only thing different he ate that day. Thank you
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itchy rashes all over the body and scalp which seems to be due to contact dermatitis.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply cold compresses to rashes. You should take benadryl twice a day and avoid dry environment. You should consult allergy specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order allergy test , blood test for IgE antibodies and physical examination . Doctor may prescribe anti allergic medicine , corticosteroid ointment and anti inflammatory.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
