What Causes Sudden Muffled Hearing, Increased Heart Beats And Sore Throat?
I am a 24 year-old female who experienced muffled hearing a few hours ago. In the past, when I ve gotten muffled hearing, it s accompanied by fuzzy vision and is an indicator that I m about to pass out. It happened again today but without the vision impairment and actual stimuli (in my case, severe pain or hearing/seeing something graphic.) Also, when I laid down, my hearing remained muffled for about five minutes and I think my heart was beating faster than normal. I should also note that I do have a sore throat and something in my foot was stuck prior to this. When my hearing became muffled, I felt like I was going to be sick but that feeling subsided after I laid down. I feel fine now--other than the sore throat--but the whole situation just struck me as odd.
I would advise you to consult your doctor immediately for general check up as to why the vision changes occurred, ENT examination and relevant tests of blood and throat swab. Get started symptomatic treatment and specific management as per the cause found, say like antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and as needed. Take bed rest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
