What Causes Sudden Nose Bleeds?

I'm an 18 year old female. I haven't had a nose bleed since I was about 8 or 9. Just a few minutes ago I felt something running out of my nose and went to wipe it and discovered it was blood. It only bled for a minute or two. Should I be concerned about this?

Hi.
Yes, definitely you should be bothered about bleeding without warning from any site of the body..
Go for an ENT examination. Most probably this may not be a serious problem, but it is always better to get a proper diagnosis. If this is just an abrasion like minor problem , every one gets relieved.
If there is no relief, this can be due to a mas or something in the nose.
