What Causes Sudden Numbness In Leg?

Am 32 male, today suddenly I got numbness in my left leg neat heal it is more than 4 hours and still I feel the numbness in my leg. I dont have back pain. I have shown doc and he have prescribed tab starnivit for 15 day. Anyony can tell what was wrong happned, do I need to worrie.
