What Causes Sudden Onset Of Headaches From Coughing, Sneezing And Any Other Strainy Movements?

I had sudden onset headaches from coughing, sneezing, bending and any other movement that causes strain. I ve had 2 CTs, and a MRI. They didn t show any problem with the brain or sinuses. I have read about a primary cough headache, but my doctors apparently don t go along with that. The headaches are lasting longer. At first it was like an explosion across the forehead, easing up in a couple of minutes; now they ease some, but I may keep a middle intensity headache for hours. They are almost unbearable when I first cough, etc. How can I get relief from the pain?

Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
If the MRI and CT of head has come negative and the sinuses have found to be normal then the other possibility is cervical spondylosis. The cervical vertebra may compress against each other causing pain referred to the parts of the head.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
