What Causes Sudden Onset Of Throbbing Pain In Chest?
Sudden onset of chest pain. Had it last week, can take my breath away at times. Causing me to have a headache. Hurst to bend over. Feels like i have to burp but doesn t get better when I do. Kind of feels like I pulled a muscle in the middle of my chest and only gets better if I do not move. If i move it starts throbbing.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sudden onset of throbbing pain in chest. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like chest infection , rib injury , acid reflux or angina . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist to rule out the more serious condition . Doctor may order ECG , TMT along with complete blood profile . Doctor may prescribe sub lingual isosorbide nitrate , aspirin , betablockers along with diuretics . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist for proper examination . For now eat light and non spicy , drink plenty of water and take proper rest .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
