General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history of pain in the know which started on moving in the house and now it is behind the knee to.
The most probable cause can be arthritis or an internal injury trivial enough to be not noticeable but developed and spread.

I would advise you in such a situation the following:
First of all, stop moving around, apply crepe bandage so that the knee is completely rested.
Get an appointment for 2 things
1. Orthopedic Surgeon
2 MRI
This will make the diagnosis clear and gives a plan for proper management.
I find this answer helpful
