What Causes Sudden Pain In Left Thigh And Left-sided Lower Back Pain?
Hi! Well all of a sudden I started getting kind of severe pain on the front area of my left tight,it s very painful when I walk every time I take a step with my left leg,I don t recall feeling some kind of sprain or getting hit with something, I remember, prior to that I was feeling some backache on my left lower back, what can I do? Or what can I take to easy the pain? Thank you.
I understand your concern. On what I have inferred, muscle spasm and muscle strain may be most common causes, due to prolonged posture or strain due to improper posturing.
Following trigger release therapy may help. Application of a warm pad over the area to increase blood circulation, following which massaging the area to release the trigger points over the muscles of lower back and thigh will help, application of ice to relive the pain.
Follow light stretches which may loosen the muscle. If pain still persists taking a muscle relaxant or a pain killer will help. Visiting a physiotherapist for proper therapy is advisable, if pain still worsens, an xray may help.
Hope this helps, Thank you for reaching out. Regards, Dr Vignan Rachabattuni
