What Causes Sudden Pain In The Chest On The Right Side?
All week I ve been having increasingly worse, sudden, severe pain on my right torso - chest wall/breast/side. Very sharp, intense and stabbing when coughing at beginning of week to now whenever I move wrong . Almost brings me to tears, and I definitely am crying out this afternoon and evening when it catches me. Talked to my nurse yesterday am. She told me to use warm compresses and call her back if not better in a few days. It s almost unbarable.
The possibilities are costochondritis and acid reflux.
As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. You can also take antacids like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole also.If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
