What Causes Sudden Pain In The Lower Left Abdomen?

I have had sudden unexplained pain in mu lower left abdomen. I m 54 years old. This is not due to menstrual cramps. Unusual poop (mud type blow outs). Full bladder makes it worse. I have taken something for gas as well as diharreah. Pain is still there when I lean forward or push on the area. Been going on for a few days. Loss of appetite.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
I understand your concern.
Possible causes of your symptoms may include:
-Urinary tract infection
-Kidney stone
-Digestive disorders/infection
I will suggest you see the Doctor for examination.Tests that may help include: stool exam, urinalysis and an abdominal ultrasound. In the meantime, an anti-spasmodic pain drug like spasfon may help if pain intense.
Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns.
Best regards
