What Causes Sudden Pain In Upper Left Abdomen?

wife had sharp sudden pain upper left stomach then it went to mild aching pain lower right stomach/ abdomen area and back, no nausea change occurred within 1/2 - 1 hour. not sure if from todays activities, loty of walking, or appendix issue. she can stand and walk, just started tonight.

Hi there.

Appendix is present in the right side so if can't cause left side pain. But diverticulitis, Irritable bowel syndrome, intestinal obstruction can cause left side pain. Keep well hydrated. Eat healthy. Slow to your Gastroenterologist for a checkup and Ultrasound.
