What Causes Sudden Pain In Upper Left Back And Shoulder?
Was just playing golf and got a sudden pain in the upper left side of my back. Feels like right around the shoulder blade area. Not constant, only hurts when I rotate my upper body to the right. Also feel some pain in my left pectoral muscle area as well. Any thoughts?

Hi,
It seems that due to sudden jerk to the shoulder and neck muscles while playing golf there might be having heavy strain on these muscles producing spasm and pain.
Give complete rest to these muscles.
Take NSAID like Diclophenac, ibuprofen medicine with some muscle relaxant medicine.
apply analgesic, muscle relaxant cream on the part.
Ok and take care.
