What Causes Sudden Pulse Sensation In Body?

Hi, how are you? I feel strong, sudden random pulse beats throughout my body. For example, I just felt a very strong pulse in my thigh while lying down. It feels like someone is hitting a punching bag inside my thigh (i.e. strong, rapid movements). The feeling subsides on it s own. I get the same feeling in other parts of my body (at random times). What could this be?

Hi,

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that generally these kind of sensation are because of anxiety factor which is not because of any physical disorder.

You can do meditation if it doesn't help then consult a physician and take anxiolytic for 10-15 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhanu Partap,
