What Causes Sudden Rashes On The Face, Ankles And Chest?

My son is 20 and looks to have a rash on his face, ankles, upper part of his chest. He just finished mowing the grass but not sure if it is from mosquitos. The rash is a light red in color with some of the shapes round and others oblong. He has no fever and feels OK

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain sudden rashes on face, chest and ankles which are light red in colour with round and oblong shapes and with a recent history of working with grass seems to be due to mite infestation causing Scabies..

I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like blood tests and microscopic examination of the scrapings from bumps can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

In case if Scabies is confirmed as diagnosis you will be advised oral Ivermectin and topical Premethrin lotion can help in relief..
You can also give him anti allergics like Levocetrizine for reducing itching..
Also washing all the clothes, beddings and putting mattresses in sun can help..
