I'm a 40 year old female that takes mo medication or has any know medical disease. I bent over to pick something up and my face felt really hot and turned red as well as the whites of me eyes. My hear increased and My head, neck and face is bounding. What could this be. Bp was super high and heart rate when to 170

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sudden redness in eyes and face with rise in BP level . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like Smoking , being overweight or obese , lack of physical activity , too much salt in the diet , too much alcohol consumption , stress and genetics . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ECG , test for diabetes , lipid profile test and will take history . Doctor may recommend you fiber rich diet with less fat , prescribe betablockers or calcium channel blockers along with diuretics . Doctor may also refer you to specialist for diabetes . For now avoid drinking alcohol , avoid fried and junk food and add more vegetables and fruits to your diet .
