What Causes Sudden Redness On The Hands While Recovering From Viral Infection?
My son just had breakfast. His hands have turned red suddenly. without any swelling. There is no itch. He was eating an omlette with bread and just before that he was eating Guava. He is recovering from a viral infection which started 4 days back. He has had fever on and off. He took about 4-5 crocins (paracetamol) in the last 4-5 days. Now there is no temp. The antibiotic prescribed is, Oflox Oz
It is due to local inflammation. As a first line management you can take antihistamines like Cetrezine for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
