Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, my husband has sudden abdominal pain starting about an hour ago on his right side. He isn t sure if it is starting in his back and coming forward or from the front and going back. He hasn t ate any extremely fatty foods today (venison sausage and eggs for breakfast and then chicken stuffed with spinach and cheese for lunch). He took tylenol about 30 minutes ago with no effect thus far. He would classify his pain at about a 6 on a scale of 1-10. I think this sounds like gallbladder issues, but without eating greasy, fatty foods today I m not entirely sure. How should we proceed at this time? Thanks!
Hello dear I understand your concern Your symptoms could be due to gall bladder problem/stone: not necessary eating fatty food is require Kidney infection/kidney stone Costochondritis Appendicitis: Right iliac fossa and periumbilical region pain and would have shown signs of peritonitis including guarding, rigidity and tenderness. GERD/gastritis. I would suggest to consult internal medicine specialist and undergo Blood test like CBC, ESR, CRP, LFT, KFT, urine tests, USG scan to confirm cause. Meanwhile take tablet ibuprofen Tablet ranitidine Precribed antibiotic Take soft diet Take proper rest Hope this may help you
Contact further if follow up needed Best regards Dr. Sagar
