What Causes Sudden Rise In Blood Glucose Levels?

Went to Gastro Dr appointment today and received a cbc and cat scan and was called at home a few minutes ago that my gloucose was 420 and to go to primary care dr today and tell them the level. My primary care told me Thursday ... I found another Primary care who had a cancel and will take a new patient on Wednesday at 2:00 PM. Had A bowel resection for scar tissue in 2009 and been seeing Drs at least every 3 months. Never had a reading for gloucose told to me before. My Question, Should I go to Hospital or wait till Wed. ?

having a glucose level of random 420 is significant. I would suggest you to start further tests and treatment right away without waiting for Wednesday
