What Causes Sudden Rise In Blood Pressure Post C-section?

Hi my sister had a cesarean on friday last week she came home two days after delivery. Last night suddenly her Blood pressure rose up quite faster and the monitor was giving the reading of 161 she can t go to sleepas she is nursing mother. Please give any advice on what to do to bring her BP back on normal

I understand your concern.
As per your history I should say that kindly monitor your blood pressure twice daily and keep a record of it. At the end of the week if you find out that the average blood pressure is more towards higher range then you have to start antihypertensive drugs.Till then you can ask her to restrict her salt intake as in ask her to stop eating pickles, salted salads, salted snacks.
Ask her to do meditation every morning.
This will help in reducing her stress level and maintain her blood pressure.
