What Causes Sudden Seizures?

hello my name is Julie im am 20 years old. I recently started having seizures. It started on 2/25/2011 i was cooking and my father was talking to me and then he turn and looks at me i fell in between the counter and stove and as i fell i hit my head pretty hard. I dont remember feeling any symptoms of going into one well he said my body stiffened up and my eyes rolled in the back of my head while my legs and arms jerked and it took any where from 10 -15 seconds for me to respond and when i came to i got up as if nothing happend and i remember nothing well when i went to the hospital they gave me a paper that said i had syncope. And here recently on the 14 i did it again at my sisters i went to the restroom and came out and was going to go sit down but before i made it out into the hall to go the the living room i fell and again body stiffened up eyes rolled into my head arms and legs jerked but this time they said my face looked stuck. It took me about 15 seconds to respond. My body was so stiff it took my sister and brother in law to turn me over. Again i didnt have any symptoms and do not remember all i know is when i came to my face was bloody and my tooth went threw my lip. I had no ideal what happend and they were in shock and didnt tell me what happend so when i went to the hospital i told them i guess i fell. Im really not sure why its happing but i am wondering does it seem that i have epilepsy and if so what kind do u think i have?
