What Causes Sudden Shock Feelings In Hands And Fingers?

My fingertips have been feeling very sensitive. This is accompanied by a sudden onset of a shocked feeling in my fingertips...it happens only for a second to all my fingertips at the same time. And now the shock feeling moves to the backs of my hands before it disappears. This happens all throughout the day, and I haven't noticed any pattern of what I'm doing at the time that may be the cause of it.
