What Causes Sudden Skin Patches And Abdominal Pain?
Hi I have woken up this morning with brown like streaks and patches on my left hand which are unexplained. I also have pain in my upper abdo which I have had for nearly a week now which gets worse as I eat. When I breathe the pain gets worse and if I lay down feels hard to breathe. I m not sure whether they are related or not but I don t know what either of them are. Can you shed some light please

Noted your history of development of brown streaks on hand, already have pain in abdomen that increases on eating, lying on sides and deep breathing.
All your history is indicative of a condition called Gastritis with GERD that is gastroesophageal sphincter disease.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Take a PPI like Omeprazole, antacid when on empty stomach; additional medicines like Domperidone will need an actual prescription from your Doctor.
Consult your Doctor and get a reference for a Gastroenterologist so that Upper GI endoscopy, H pylori test can be done and continued on further additional management.
Clinical picture of the streaks and patches on hand can be diagnosed by your Doctor, investigated and treated accordingly.
