What Causes Sudden Swelling In Wrist And Hands?

I have had a sudden swelling in my wrist and hands and fingers accompanied by cold finger tips and numbness and tingling throughout both arms. Also swelling of legs, ankles and feet, bottom of feet are painful to walk on and limited bending with pain in the knees. Itching at feet, calves and arms.
