What Causes Sudden Thinning Of Hair While Suffering From Chronic Diarrhea?

I ve had chronic diarrhea/loose stools for about 5 months and have been living with the symptoms, because there was no pain or discomfort, just a little gas and a bad odor. But now I ve noticed my hair is suddenly, drastically thinning out. And I wonder if these are related?

Hi,

I think this thinning of hair may be due to lack of vitamins. Since you have been suffering from a long period of diarrhea it has caused lack of absorption of vitamins.

You can use B complex vitamins to help hair growth and thickening.
