What Causes Sudden Unusual Movement In Arms Long After Having Epilepsy?

I am 75 years old and for the past year when laying in bed or sitting in my armchair, my arm waves quite violently in the air for a very short time but very regular. In 2006 i was diagnosed with epelepsy but these spasyms only lasted one week and have never returned but i am still taking tegretol

Hi,

It may be epilepsy again, alternatively Parkinson's disease. It could also be essential tremor, but you should see a neurologist to be sure.
