What Causes Sudden Vaginal Mucus Discharge With Cramping?

i have not had sex in 10 months.. all of a sudden this morning i had a bunch of thick snot discharge when i wiped this morning. First time i went to the bathroom I had cottage cheese in my underwear so i simply thought it was a yeast infection then the next time i went, it was snot. i have had cramping also
