What Causes Sudden Weakness In The Right Knee?

I tired to get out of bed during the night and my right knee gave out. I have very little pain, only if I try and straighten my right leg or try to walk. No injury. I can bend my leg and I have no problems with moving it only if I try to straighten my leg. I am a 69 year female. I do not excise. I am using a cane to walk around the house.

Hello,

Kindly get an x-ray knee or MRI knee done because without that it is not possible for us to diagnose.

If I could have a chance to examine you then it would have been better. If you get the reports then we can treat you. Please come for follow up with us.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
