What Causes Sudden Weakness On The Right Side Of The Body?
We have a patient who came in two weeks age with a right sided weakness. No speech problems or facial droop. The weakness has progressed and she is unable to work with therapy or bear weight on her right side. She c/o occasional headaches which Tylenol helps slightly, she denies visual changes but has some dementia. Could this be a sign of a slow cerebral bleed? We sent her to the ER
it can be hemiparesis right side apart of stroke. check bp and take mri of brin. it can confirm bleeding of brain. can start lowprin and warfarin.monitoring of brain hemorrhages to be done. it can stop and for collateral circulation you will slowly improve. consult neurologist for examination and monitoring.
