Weight gain in the abdominal area is commonly due to lack of exercises, alcohol consumption,
stress, side effects of certain medications,
ascites, other chronic diseases, etc. Obesity is one of the major causes of
gall stones, wrong diet (diet high in fat,
cholesterol and low in fiber) may be a cause. Maintain healthy lifestyle, exercise regularly and avoid addictions if any. Since you are diagnosed with gall stones avoid taking oily, junk food. Maintain healthy weight. Get clinically examined by a surgeon, get all investigations and imaging tests done. If needed get the gall stones removed.
