Hi, I m a female who recently turned 22. I ve never done this before so I m not sure where to start. I mainly just need to know whether I need to see a mental health doctor or not?? If so then what type of mental health professionalist to see?? I m pretty sure I am mentally unstable, i have gone from feeling so happy that I m on cloud 9 to physically hurting myself or others within less than 24 hours. I lost my twin brother in 2010 to suicide which is when my parents decided to move to a different country but I stayed here alone to get a better education. Both of my parents also have attempted suicide multiple times so they re not really stable either. I was ok for a while but in 2012 I had my first mental breakdown and it kinda has been getting worse and worse since then. I don t know if this is too much information or not, but yeah... thank you.
