I have a four year old daughter who has Down Syndrome. Her health is great but if I feed her eggs then her stool smells like sulphur extremely bad. I stopped feeding her eggs and the smell never came back. Eight months later, I started giving her eggs for breakfast again...the smell returned quickly. I stopped again, the odor went away. Her daycare researched something called METHYL________ .....I can t remember the whole word, but it listed a number of foods not to give kids with this problem...the top food was eggs. Is it the whole egg? Or could she still have the yoke or egg whites seperately? She loves eggs....but can t have them. What is the name of the METHYL____________? I need to research this more. Thanks!
