What Causes Swallowing Difficulty And Sore Throat?

My throat is throbbing near my Adam s apple it started as a knot like I was getting a sore throat or my bronchitis was flaring up so I drank hot tea and coffee and the knot went away as usual. Now this morning I wake up and it has throbbed all day and even now while I m typing. This never happened before bit my medical history is I have a swallowing delay in throat due to prematurity and had a endoscopy done in 2013 which is how I discovered the swallowing delay but I ve always had swallowing problems as a child and had surgery ( for tube feeding )as a baby because I could not swallow at all. Hope this helps what do you think is going on?
