My left jaw and face have been extremely sore thought I had an abcess in tooth, but dentist has ruled that out, was given clindamycin, seems to have helped a bit but still have an ache also have discomfort swallowing lower down in my chest not sure if this has been caused by anitiobiotics, any idea what could be causing pain
You have not mentioned whether it is upper jaw or lower jaw. Upper jaw may be involved with maxillary sinusitis and lower jaw may be having infection (Ludwig's angina), since antibiotics has helped, it is likely an infection , consult an ENT specialist for full treatment.
