What Causes Sweet Smell To The Sweat?
Yes I am a morbid obese male. 26, and I just started working out again this past month. Everything is going great losing weight. gaining muscle, but I noticed today that my sweat smells a little sweet. Like sugar candy that was liquified. I already have a hard time to break a sweat due to my anti-epilepsy meds. So I am a little concerned.

Understanding your concern.
As you mention in your query that you are doing exercises ,over weight and you are on anti-epileptic drugs and having problem of sweet smelling sweat. There can be more then one cause for sweet smelling sweat .
- As you are obese person the sweet smell of sweat can be because of diabetes type 1,which produce by breakdown of fats to ketones .
- It can also be because you are doing excess exercise which which produce lactic acid and led to condition called lactic asidosis .
- It can be because of certain medication like anti-depressants (if your are taking ).
As sweet smelling sweat always points towards some underlying disease you should immediately consult a doctor ,who can perform ketone and blood sugar testing ,also can take blood samples for lactic asidosis test and look out for if there is any medication causing it .Doctor can start treatment according to factor responsible for it .
Do not ignore it because sometimes ketoacidosis can lead to diabetic coma .For now drink lot of water to flush out excess lactic acid.
