What Causes Swelling Above The Collar Bone On The Lower Neck?

I m wondering what might cause swelling or the look of a thickening in my lower neck right above my collar bone. It feels like a soft fat pocket. But I m also noticing a change in the way my throat feels and a bit of a narrowing sensation when swallowing. I ve had weird fatigue and menopausal type symptoms and a general feeling like something isn t right with me. I had an ultrasound of my thyroid that came back normal. Any thoughts?? Thank you for your help

Hi,

Your symptoms can be related to lymphadenopathy or enlarged lymph nodes. It is probably related to an infection. I recommend you to do some examinations such as a complete blood count and X-ray of the chest for further evaluation and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
