What Causes Swelling Above The Collar Bone?

I have swelling above my collar bone on both sides. My arms and hands have lost a lot of strength. My neck is thick but no nodules. I have hypothyroid but just had TSH tested and dosage of medicine is correct. I went to my Dr. and he isn't concerned but I feel like something isn't right. Any ideas?
