What Causes Swelling Along With Tingling Sensation In Face?
I wanted to ask if there could be something really wrong with me. Half of my face is swollen and sometimes gets a tingly feeling. It never goes away and seems to be getting worse. I don t remember exactly when this started, but it has been going on for awhile now.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain swelling on one side of face with tingly feeling can be due to causes like allergic reaction to any food or medication while can also be due to any dental decay leading to abscess formation.. It can also be due to infection in deeper tissues leading to Cellulitis.. But for confirmation you need to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and you can be advised x-ray, MRI scan and also blood tests if allergy is suspected.. As of now you can start doing cool compresses over the swelling.. If there is pain you can take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen.. In case if you are known allergic to any food avoid its intake.. The exact course of treatment will be advised once the cause is confirmed like antibiotics in case of infection and a course of anti allergics if there is allergy.
Hope this helps..
Regards..
