What Causes Swelling And Bleeding Behind The Eardrum?

the doctors found blood behind my left eardrum,and now its bulging, i have went through 2 different medications, both failed, my eardrum is still the same,i am in a lot of pain,my they found fluid also in my right ear. i lose balance, and my words a little slurred, sometimes my face swells. what causes this i am in my 40 s, could this be serious?

Hello,

You may developed middle ear infection may be due to bacterial or viral origin or it may be trauma. If you're symptoms not improved may need incision and drainage of middle ear contents. Please consult with your ENT specialist he will do myrigotomy and treat you accordingly.
