What Causes Swelling And Bleeding From The Gums?

i had a recent flair of my shoulder which might be arthritis but i have no rotater cuff basically but then my gums got swollen and began to bleed with some pain. I also have yellow /green goop coming from my nose. i do have some sinus issues and cancer in my family. should i go to a doctor or just wait it out. I've also had some i guess dizziness and just want to find out if i should wait it out or not.

Hi..
Thanks for the query.

Bleeding gums can be due to Infection in gums and as you already have sinus history the nasal discharge is due to the infection in sinuses that is draining infectious fluid..
You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
A thorough cleaning of the teeth following antibiotics can help in resolving the symptoms..
A sinus x ray can be done for ruling out Sinusitis..
If it is present antibiotics, nasal decongestant spray, saline nasal irrigation and steam inhalation can help..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
