i have white blotches on my uvula and it has been swollen for three days, swollowing is painful, it hurts now i am getting short headaches and pain in my jaw right behind and below my ear, dont know if related, i am a 39 year old male, no real health issues
As per your query you have symptoms of swelling and blotches on uvula which seems to be due to bacterial infection of oral cavity and it could be allergic reaction to any ingredient.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to suck on ice pops. Chew few cloves of garlic to help reduce the infection and heal uvula. Maintain hygiene and do gargles warm saline rinses. Drink plenty of water. Take proper course of antibiotics such as Azithromycin 250 mg along with anti inflammatory medications. Visit oral physician once and get it examined and start treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
