What Causes Swelling And Clicking Sensation In Throat?
Hello, I have had a strange, uncomfortable feeling in my lower throat for the past 5 days. It feels stiff, perhaps swollen, but not sore. When I swallow, I feel a clicking sensation. I've never experienced this before. I have no family history of thyroid problems and feel fine otherwise.
Hello, There could be strange feeling because of the reflux disease or nasal disease. Reflux disease is reflux of food contents in the food pipe and so the acidic reflux irritates the throat and cause problem.Similarly the mucus coming from nose will irritate the throat. You should consult an ENT specialist and get examined. And treatment for the cause of throat disease. In doubt do reply.
