What Causes Swelling And Discoloration Of Scrotum?

I am scheduled for Inguinal Hernia surgery in early August.. There is swelling of the scrodiam and some discoloration also. There is moderate pain - 3/4 on a scale of 10. Swelling started yesterday but has increased in size . Should I go to the ER Room at this time?

I really appreciate your concern, you can try anti-inflammatory drug first and best drug would be "Tab Ibuprofen" if swelling remains as it is or comes back then underlying cause of this need to be investigated and for that you have to go to see the ER, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
