What Causes Swelling And Edema In The Leg When Diagnosed With Polymyalgia Rheumatica?

i have very swollen legs and feet also atrial fibriation 5 or so spots have appeared on my right ankle ( the most swollen) fluid coming out. should i apply adressing Add. info ihave been recently diagnosed with polymialgia rhumatica and have been started on 20 mill of prednisolone once per day

Hi,

Ah... Atrial fibrillation. Dermatologic conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them. BUT, atrial fibrillation lowers the amount of blood going thru the heart and it builds up behind the heart. One can have fluid in the legs and have so much pressure that small amounts of blood pop out of the vessels.
