Hello and welcome to HCM,
Tenderness around the elbow joint is seen after trauma so trauma is the most probable cause for it.
Is the fluid collection around the elbow joint or there is presence of fluid filled swelling around the elbow joint.
A clinical assessment is necessary to determine whether there is collection of fluid in the joint or there is formation of fluid filled swelling near the joint.
Further management will depend on clinical assessment.
In the meanwhile, you can take pain killer and hot fomentation.

Thanks and take care
