Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a dancer, and have a show coming up next week. In this show, there are a lot of knee drops. Where you basically drop onto your knees, from doing this my knee has swollen and I think I now have fluid on my knee cap. Then, yesterday a huge bruise came up on my calf and I don t know why, because I haven t hit it there. Are these linked? and should I be worried? Also, I stubbed my toe on Monday and that is very swollen and bruised, so is the leg bruise linked to that instead?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, look knee is very fragile unit in human body and highly vulnerable to injury particularly with the person who involve in some kind of physical activity, so in such situation great care need to be taken for knee joint and this would be really matter of concern, hope this information helps, take care.
