What Causes Swelling And Infection In Leg?
hello,my father leg has got wound which was taken place ten years back but he neglegted till the date and now his foot got swelling and under his foot there is a whole and since couple of days some germs r something were out,now condition is very critical and what disease it would be ?

It seems that he might be having some chronic infection in his leg like osteomyelitis in leg bone as this is for very long time and remained untreated.
Go for x-ray leg for having any chronic infection.
Rule out diabetes as in diabetics, diabetes leg is a common complication and there might be having risk of having gangrene.
Consult surgeon and get examined and investigated.
Ok and take care.
