What Causes Swelling And Inflammation In Ear?

Left ear antihelix area swollen, red, tender and hurts if any pressure is put on it and throbs. No bug bites, stings or puncture mark in the area. No discharge. Inner ear & canal fine with no new noises or disturbances. Begin soreness 4 weeks ago with slight discomfort but until yesterday tolerable. Looking for solutions until I can see an ENT. Thanks.
