What Causes Swelling And Inflammation In The Left Foot?

My left foot is swollen and red, its extremely hot, the skin on top seem to look like its going to flake as of looks like scales, also i cant put no pressure on it cause then pain goes from a throbbing 10 to a sharp pearcing 20 totally unbearable , as well as intermittent moments where my foot will start to tremble uncontrollablely. What can this be and should i go to the er or just see my dr asap ?

What You have is inflammation of the good which is characterised by pain, swelling, lack of movement, and redness.
Infammation is caused by injury or infection.
First treat the inflammation by inti inflammatory drugs Asprin. Panadal. brufen
or declofenac.
This will reduce the pain
Then investigate for the cause of inflammation
1. Full haemogram. This will show of there in infection by raised WBCs Of there is infection then antibiotics wil be usefull
2. Do x ray of the inflammed area to rule out injury Swelling , fracture, arthritis, Bone necrosis
the treatment will depend on the outcome.
Rhreumatologyor orthopeadic durgron review is necessary for further manangement.
