What Causes Swelling And Inflammation In The Left Hand?

I awoke this morning with my left hand swollen, red and cold. Tingling and numbness pain. have had a rare form of nueropathy in my feet for years. My doctors said it could spread to my hands as well. I imagined it being a slower process as my feet were.
