I have pretty intense pain on the bridge of my nose along with swelling. Never had these symptoms before. Haven’t bumped my nose on anything. Started about a week ago & is intensifying. Also membranes are very swollen on inside. Extremely tender to the touch. No fever

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Swelling and pain at the bridge of the nose may be due to ethmoidal sinusitis or nasal polyps or nose block or rhinitis etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

Get it done x-ray paranasal sinuses. Nasal endoscopy.

Please consult your ent specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
